Incredibly lightweight and soft, Amelie is a ‘blow’ yarn, where incredibly soft fluffy fibre is ‘blown’ into a tube. In Amelie’s case, the tube is made of luxurious mulberry silk. Compare to/substitute for Drops Air or SandnesGarn Kos, which have the same put-up (yards per ball), but use nylon instead of silk. This ‘blow’ format makes the yarn very light and airy.
